Programme overview
The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Robotics and AI for Net Zero (RAINZ) develops the multi-disciplinary robotic systems needed to manage the lifecycle of critical infrastructure, from wind turbines to nuclear reactors, in support of the UK's net zero strategy.
As a postgraduate researcher on this CDT, led by Professor Simon Watson, you will train alongside researchers from Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, the University of Glasgow and the University of Oxford, contributing to an industry co-created research cohort challenge during the research component of the programme.

Programme description
The RAINZ CDT is a four-year PhD programme that combines taught MSc study with doctoral research. During your first year, you will complete two semesters of master's-level training through and take part in the CDT Summer School at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ. You will then spend three years undertaking a PhD research project at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, the University of Glasgow or the University of Oxford.
