Course description

This course provides advanced, wide-ranging education in communications and signal processing, supported by related topics in networks, microwave engineering and intelligent systems. You will develop knowledge and skills across areas such as digital and wireless communications, mobile networks, digital signal processing, communication networks and optical communications, with opportunities to explore specialist topics through optional course units.

Designed for graduates with a foundation in communications and signal processing, the course enables you to deepen your technical and analytical skills and apply them to modern communication and signal processing challenges. The programme prepares you for careers in relevant engineering and technology sectors, as well as for further study and research at PhD level.
